A Farewell to DSW

Today marks a fairly momentous occasion: I am putting in my two weeks notice at DSW Shoe Warehouse at the Dayton Mall, my place of employment for four summers (and three years). I almost feel bad about quitting there, but I am moving on now. Next summer I hope to be pretty much anywhere than Dayton, and I feel that cutting the DSW cord will help me. I will no longer feel obligated to go to the mall to beg for hours on weekends at home. I think this is going to be good for me.

I will dearly miss all of those people who have been at DSW since I started: Danetta, Carlos, Crissi, Stephanie, Jill, and Steven. I will also miss many of those people who we have picked up (and some that have been dropped off) along the way. As much as I hate to admit it, I’m going to miss the place a lot.
